"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." ~Ephesians 2:8

"Every good gift and every perfect gift comes from above."
When we say that "the best things in life are free,"it's a way of acknowledging that when God gives life and friendship and laughter, He is showing that no one can give a better gift than He can. Yet, His best offer is so priceless and so perfectly suited to our needs and happiness, many think it's too good to be true.
The Bible describes a wonderfully, mysterious gift that goes far beyond anything we have ever received. When unwrapped, it includes peace of mind, acceptance, forgiveness, adoption into the family of heaven and everlasting life.
The Bible refers to this spiritual package as salvation and calls it "the gift of God."(Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)
God loves you, and offers a wonderful plan for your life!

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but because of his stubborn self-will, he chose to go his own, independent way and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is evidence of what the Bible calls, "Sin".
Man is sinful and separated for God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin. Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

"Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me."
You can receive Christ right now, by faith, through prayer.
"Say the welcoming word to God-"Jesus is my Master"-embracing, body and soul, God's work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That's it. You're not "doing" anything; you're simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That's salvation.
(ROMANS 10:9 THE MESSAGE BIBLE)
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord,"and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
(ROMANS 10:9 NIV)

God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I need you. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be." Amen
